HEART-BREAKING NEWS AT CINEMATOGRAPHER/DIRECTOR SANTOSH SIVAN'S HOUSEHOLD; TRIBUTES POUR IN!

Now the heart-breaking news comes from popular cinematographer, director, producer Santosh Sivan’s household. His father who is a noted photographer and filmmaker Sivan passed away.

The 89-year-old breathed his last at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala today (June 24, Thursday), due to a cardiac arrest. For the unversed, Sivan had won the National Film Awards thrice.

One of Sivan’s sons, Sangeeth Sivan who is also a director has taken to his social media to break the death news. He tweeted, “Thank you Dad for everything! Difficult to imagine a world without you but we will continue to trudge d path you have paved for us, safe in d knowledge that u would be guiding us from your place in the clouds & stars. Forever indebted. #OmShanthi #Sivan”
