"I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE HIM CHOKED" - HARISH KALYAN'S IMPORTANT STATEMENT

Post the box office success of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Bigg Boss star Harish Kalyan was announced to team up with director Ranjit Jeyakodi (Puriyaadha Pudhir fame) for an intense romantic flick. Titled as Ispade Rajavum Idhaya Raniyum, this film has music by Sam C.S., with 'Kaali' fame Shilpa Manjunath playing the female lead.
 

The makers recently canned some of the important scenes in exotic locations in Ladakh, where an assistant director choked and suffered from breathing problems.

Talking about this unexpected incident, Harish Kalyan said, "We had completed filming few scenes near the hotel we stayed and suddenly, I could hear some kind of tumult. I was shocked to see that an assistant director choked and couldn’t breathe.

We rushed to the hospital and were literally appalled till we found that he was back to normalcy. Usually, the oxygen content in air is low in such regions of high altitude. He didn’t wear proper woolen clothing and hadn’t covered his ears as well, which eventually affected his lungs."

In his recent official statement, Harish Kalyan also shared his experience of shooting in exotic locations in the hilly regions. "There are certain things might look exquisitely heavenly to our eyes, but reaching such destinations has to involve certain risky challenges, which involves scenarios out of our imaginations. Such was our experience while shooting in Ladakh.

A few scenes involving me and Shilpa Manjunath had to be filmed across the backdrop of Rohtang Pass. Since, it was at the higher altitude, people didn’t want to accompany us and even warned us too. However, Ranjit Jeyakodi and cinematographer Kavin had already been there for scouting locations and assured that it has an exquisitely serene picturesque backdrop for the scene.

Initially, I was quite ignorant about reaching there as the local people around had warned me about the risk. Nevertheless, Ranjit encouraged me to embark on the journey, which involved 2 hours of trekking. Finally, I was the first one to reach out there and was spellbound over the unimaginable beauty of the place. The entire team forgot the pains and challenges of a long journey after witnessing its sublime scenario", said Harish.
