As reported earlier dance choreographer Baba Baskar turns director with a 'thara local' entertainer Kuppathu Raja starring GV Prakash as the lead. Actor/director Parthiben also plays a pivotal role in this film slated for a December release.
Now the latest announcement from the team is that the first look of Kuppathu Raja would be revealed by Dhanush at 6 PM, today, the 19th of October.

Wunderbar Production house just made an exciting announcement. Yes, actor Krishna would be playing the second lead in Maari 2.
Other finalized casts of Maari 2 are Dhanush, Sai Pallavi, Robo Shankar and Tovino Thomas. Balaji Mohan wields the directorial hat while the music director of the film has not been revealed yet.
Maari 2 could be an excellent opportunity for Krishna who looks to be choosing his roles wisely in the recent times.
