GOOGLE PAYS TRIBUTE TO THIS SUPERSTAR!

Google has dedicated it’s doodle to late Kannada superstar Rajkumar today (the 24th of April), as it is the legendary actor’s birthday. He was born in the year 1929 on this same day and is widely acclaimed as one of the finest actors in the history of Indian cinema.

The google doodle features a young Rajkumar in a theatre with a silhouette of many people seated to watch his film.

Rajkumar started his career at the age of 8 through a drama company. In 1953, he was spotted by director H. L. N. Simha who signed him for the film Bedara Kannappa. From there, he went on to act in over 200 films in total. His last release was Shabdavedhi in 2000.
