In a recent exclusive interview, actress Shraddha Das revealed her parents’ opinion about her playing glamorous roles.
The actress, who has starred in several Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bengali films, said, “My parents are very modern and my father is a big fan of Jennifer Lopez, so in my house, it was normal. In Bombay, most heroines are glamorous, so for me coming from Bombay, it wasn’t unusual.”
On being confident in doing glamorous roles, the actress said, “One needs to be confident, whether it is a glamorous role or not. If one is not confident, it will show on-screen. Both kind of roles need preparation.”
The ‘Arya 2’ actress also revealed why she hasn’t starred in any Tamil films. “Every time I am about to do something in Tamil, it gets cancelled. I have lost out roles in Vishal’s movies twice. I was also approached to play the role of a suicide bomber in one of Mysskin’s films.”
Shraddha Das is most popular for her roles in the films ‘Arya 2’, ‘Darling’ and ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’.
