POPULAR TAMIL ACTOR CLARIFIES ABOUT HIS STATEMENT ON RAJINIKANTH'S POLITICAL ENTRY

This morning, there was a rumor doing the rounds that Gautham Karthik had said that Rajinikanth should not enter politics and should remain as an actor. There were numerous reports about the same, where some people were seen bashing Gautham Karthik for his statement.

The question raised to me was if I would support Rajini sir if he enters politics. My answer to that was, I don't know anything about politics, and to me, Rajini sir is a superstar and I will see him as a superstar only. That is all I said, but it went out of context and people have written something wrong. So please don't bring me into politics, I have no relation to politics whatsoever, I am here to make films and I love to watch films and I love watching the superstar in films, this is it.''
