Popular Tamil television reality show Bigg Boss 3, has been subjected to criticism ever since the abrupt exit of the fellow contestant Madhumitha, citing an injury in which Madhumitha harmed herself due to an argument.
Post her Bigg Boss exit, the actress was embroiled in controversy after recent media reports suggested that Vijay Televison the channel that telecasts the reality show for three seasons had filed a complaint, alleging that the actress threatened to commit suicide if her pending dues are not given within two days. The actress had outrightly denied the report, but the truth turned to be otherwise, as the actress came to know that a complaint was registered by the channel.
In a recent press conference, Madhumitha clarifed her stand, saying "I have been receiving phone calls about this alleged complaint, but I contacted my lawyer and visited the Guindy station, only to find that the complaint filed by Vijay Television was indeed true."
She said that it is Vijay Television and Kamal Haasan's responsibility to address the issue. The actress had also said the she's still under the terms and conditions of Vijay Television and the show. She said "I haven't visited a doctor till now, I am undergoing treatment only through the doctor appointed by the show's makers." Madumitha said that she is unable to contact the channel.
