VIJAY MAKES THE CUT WHILE AJITH MISSES THE BUS

The year 2016 is coming to a close and we have rankings based on many factors in all the fields and film industry is no exception either.

2016 Forbes India Celebrity 100 List is out and the rankings are based on two parameters as per their official note; estimates of entertainment related earnings of celebrities and estimates of their fame. The period under consideration for both was October 1, 2015, to September 30, 2016.

This year around, we see quite a number of South Indian celebs occupying the list and there are new entrants too.

According to the list, Superstar Rajinikanth tops it when it comes to South Indian film stars and he occupies 30th slot with a  reported earnings of Rs 53 crore. The list has Shruti Haasan at 46th, Dhanush at 47th, Kamal Haasan at 49th, Suriya at 51st, Kajal Aggarwal at 53rd, Vijay at 61st, Vikram at 72nd and Prabhu Deva at 90th positions.

The list also has Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Junior NTR, Ram Charan in 33rd, 43rd, 55th and 67th place respectively.

New entrants to this list are Vikram, Vijay and Prabhu Deva. Interestingly, Ajith does not find himself in this list.
