Karthi's Kadaikutty Singam which hit the screens last week has been performing well at the box office in just one week of its release. Widely appreciated for its finest blend of family sentiments and Indian culture, the film has considerably had a stronger connection with the rural audience. When we got in touch with the film's distributor Mr. Sakthivelan of Sakthi Factory, who bagged the rights for the film in TamilNadu stated that,
"The film, of course, connected big-time with the rural audiences but, we have received a very good amount of appreciation from the city audiences as well. I am very happy about the film's successful run in its first week and one interesting fact is that I heard there have been calls from other parts of TN to many industry people in Chennai to watch KKS.
One interesting story was shared to me by Cinematographer, R.D. Rajasekhar. He told me that his father in law who doesn't comment much about his films, spoke so highly about KKS since it emphasized on family values and insisted Rajasekhar to watch the film. Such kind responses are making us even happier".
