RAEES TO BE BANNED?

Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees directed by Rahul Dholakia hit the screens recently and the film has been received well by the audience. It is about the meteoric rise of a gangster named Raees and the story is set in Gujarat.

Some political outfits in Gujarat seek a ban on Raees in the state claiming that the film is glorifying a criminal called Abdul Latif and his life while Shah Rukh and the production house reiterate that it is a fictional work and has no connection whatsoever with the claimed person.  Reports say that the members of the outfit were shouting slogans in front of the theatres screening Raees.
