Meena played Rajinikanth and Ambica's daughter in the film
Enkeyo Ketta Kural released alongside the Kamal Haasan starrer Sakalakala Vallavan. Both films did fine at the box office, with the latter being more successful among the two.
They also transitioned to lead pairs in cinema and gave hits like Veera, Ejaman, Muthu. They are once again coming together in Annaatthe, directed by Siva and also starring Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu and Nayanthara.
