A very relieved Mersal team is now coming out to engage with fans and are constantly replying and interacting with fans over social media after the film's release.
On that note, one of Vijay fans recently asked editor Ruben about why he hasn't spoken anything much about Mersal before the film's release. To this question, Ruben answered, "Padam censor certificate vara varaikkum nammala vechu senjaanga bro! So time illa".
This answer definitely indicates that the Mersal team have undergone various pressures and deadlines to make the film hit the screens for Diwali, in spite of many external factors trying to stop the release.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, child artist Aakshath, who played an important role in Mersal as the younger version of one of Vijay's characters, answered a lot of questions with refreshing innocence and cuteness.
Speaking about his shooting experience, he said, "They found me after I did a rampwalk... Vijay uncle would help me with my acting now and then. Atlee uncle told me not to be in any photos.. I did not need any glycerine to cry, it was easy.."
"Vijay uncle" is Aakshath's favourite actor. He has even received five very unique gifts from the star actor for his birthday. The sweet kid also sang two songs from Mersal for us.
