The trailer of Vikram’s Iru Mugan is highly successful and is inching towards the 5 million YouTube views mark. Though the trailer has met with positive response from critics and fans alike, a certain section of the audience feels that the makers have spilled the beans by revealing the antagonist Vikram through the trailer itself and not on the giant screen.
When we inquired about why such a decision was made with the editor of the film Bhuvan Srinivasan, he told us, “Not all the elements have been disclosed and the film still has plenty more to offer. We have tried an unconventional screenplay through this trailer cut. Unlike other trailers where it is largely an extension of the teaser, we have tried to start the trailer from where our teaser ended.”
About his other projects:
“Apart from Iru Mugan, I am currently working in Kuttram 23, Ulta and the untitled Ajay Gnanamuthu-Atharvaa project.”
