ACTRESS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY - CCB'S FIRST MOVE IN DRUG CONTROVERSY!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsThe issue of drug abuse in the film industry has now blown up in a massive issue. Recently, filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh had revealed that he has shared the names and details of about 10-15 actors involved in the drug controversy to the CCB officials.
Post this,the Karnataka Central Crime Branch (CCB) had raided the house of actress Ragini Dwivedi. The CCB had served a notice to the actress on Wednesday, asking her to depose before them on Thursday, but she sent a team of lawyers seeking time till Monday.
Now the latest update is that the actress has been taken into custody by the officials and images supporting the same are circulating on social media. More details on the same is awaited.
In the meantime, the police are said to have arrested a one Mr. Ravi, who supposedly has acquaintances in theindustry, in connection with the drugs case and a court has sent him to police custody for five days.
