The South Indian Artists Association has given a press note thanking the officials of the State Government for the end to the theatre strike that lasted 4 days. Normalcy has been established with the help of these State Government officials and the Nadigar Sangam has taken this opportunity to thank the officials.
They specifically thanked our Chief Minister E.Palanisamy, T Jayakumar, SP Velumani, KS Veeramani and Kadambur Raju. It is known that the theatre strike lasted for 4 days and the Nadigar Sangam has mentioned that they are really happy that the State Government officials spent 2 days time with the film fraternity amidst their busy schedules to sort the issue out.
Reports suggest that these 4 days have been a big loss for the entire Tamil film industry but it has now come to an end. The Nadigar Sangam also mentioned that the idea of forming a committee with members from both the State Government as well as the Tamil film fraternity was very good and a welcome approach that has to be embraced.
