Doordarshan is India’s public broadcasting network founded by the Government of India that has been operational since 1959. It stands as an element of nostalgia that keeps functioning and keeps attracting viewers with very useful, informative contents.
Now, the channel held a contest that allowed netizens to create logos for renewation of the Legendary channel logo after 60 years of its inception. The winner was announced to be given a cash award of 1 Lakh rupees. Now the channel has officially given out top 5 logos out of 10000 entries that were submitted.

These 5 displayed logos are very trendy, ‘new-age’ and different from the original one. Though the contending logos look cool, people are embracing their previous logo which was one of the favourite things about this Legendary channels. Among these, one of them have been chosen to pilot as the new logo of DD India Live.
