At the end of the 3 days opening weekend, Sai Pallavi's debut Tamil film Diya has grossed around 47.6 lakhs in Chennai city alone according to Behindwoods box office wing.

This is a decent figure and compares pretty well with the other recent films of the same league. Since Avengers: Infinity War has taken the limelight, Diya is off to an Average opening and we will have to wait and see if the film performs better in the coming days.
