In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, director Vijay talks about his plans to direct Thalaivaa 2 with Thalapathy Vijay. The Saivam director says he has a storyline ready and is confident of doing it someday.

"Wherever I go, the only question that people ask me is, when will I direct Thalaivaa 2?, It is surprising to see so many people ask me that question over and over again. Vijay sir knows when to do a film like Thalaivaa 2. We have talked about it once, I have a story idea and I believe the movie will happen someday."

Talking about the release issue Thalaivaa faced director Vijay said, "The backend support that Vijay (Thalapathy) provided during the issue was unbelievable, he never showed his Superstar image and acted as a team member and supported us so much. When fans were very disturbed, Vijay sir wanted to give a statement, I shot the video and his speech was so moving. That is one of the toughest phases of my career."
