VADA CHENNAI FIRST…

Director Vetri Maaran is upbeat about the positive response his film Visaaranai received recently. His next film was announced as Vada Chennai with Dhanush.

Meanwhile, there were successive tweets from his production house Grassroot Film Company which talked about the acquiring of filming rights for the story ‘Shoes of the Dead’ written by Kota Neelima. This is about the farmer’s suicide and the politics around it. 

Certain sections of the media had stated that Vetri Maaran will do this film before Vada Chennai. So, we contacted the National Award winning director to have a clarity on this and this is what he had to say, “I will start work on this project only after my ongoing project with Dhanush. First it will be Vada Chennai only”.

Guess that puts the confusion to rest!
