We got in touch with acclaimed director to know about his feeling on this. He opened up, "The National award was for my documentary directorial, Sanath, which is about a physically challenged educationalist who is indulged in farming. The film highlights the need to include farming in our compulsory education system. With this National Award, I am sure it will help to get more spotlight and awareness among people about the essentiality of farming. In that way, I am so happy for this award."
