He had mentioned that a director of his stature, whose works are compared to that with Mahendran and Balu Mahendra, must not endure such disrespect from his fellow housemates.
The director shared an anecdote about Cheran, where the latter resigned from a post in the Directors' Union as a mark of protest when he faced disrespect. Vasanta Balan had also mentioned that the housemates' ignorance will make them think Cheran and Saravanan on the same plank.
Earlier, the director had also commented about another Bigg Boss contestant Sandy master, in which he talked about the experience working with him in Jail and praised the entertaining nature of Sandy's personality. He had also wished Sandy to win the show
