Enakku Innoru Peru Irukku (EIPI) featuring GV Prakash in the lead hits the screens this Friday, the 17th June. The film is directed by Sam Anton and produced by Lyca. We catch up with Sam to find out his feelings before the release of his second film.
How do you feel now that your second film is up for release?
Although it is my second film, this is my first script. Darling was anyway a remake even though I made a few changes. In all senses, EIPI is my first film and I would like to watch it with the audience. I am not nervous but I feel responsible as it is a big budgeted film. And also for GV, this is the step to go a next higher level.
GV Prakash
He is a very good friend. He has developed very much as an actor. He has more fans and it is my responsibility to satisfy everyone. He is a very selfless person. In this film, we have around 8-9 major characters. Everyone needs an RR. Therefore he worked for the film and not for him as a hero. In fact, in EIPI, more than the hero, villain’s RR will be more prominent.
EIPI has got a U/A. Would it be a deterrent for family audiences?
No, definitely not. EIPI can be seen with the family audiences. The reason for U/A was the gangster theme. That’s what Censor told me and they also did not give me many cuts .We just got three mutes; that’s all. It is a proper family entertainer.
Wish you and the team of Enakku Innoru Peru Irukku the best!
