Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha's life history is set to be made as a biopic in Kollywood, and not just one, two biopics are simultaneously getting ready.
One among the two is the one directed by A Priyadhaarshini, who is currently helming Varalaxmi Sarathkumar's Sakthi. This biopic has been titled as 'The Iron Lady', and director A.R.Murugadoss released the title look of the film, through his Twitter space. The poster also stated that the film will be officially launched with a grand inaugration ceremony that is expected to happen very soon.
Priyadharshini, who happens to be a former associate of director Mysskin, announced that she will reveal the lead of this project (playing the titular role) at the inaugration ceremony. However, there is a wide speculation that Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will only be playing as Jayalalitha, as the Sarkar actress was tagged in Murugadoss' announcement tweet.
Murugadoss' tweet - "Extremely happy and excited to launch the Title poster of #Jayalalithaabiopic #THEIRONLADY I wish @priyadhaarshini @varusarath and team for a grand success."
Meanwhile, director Vijay has also been committed to do a biopic of Jayalalitha as a trilingual in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, which is bankrolled by Vibri Media.
