PRAVINKANTH REQUESTS PRODUCERS TO GO ON A STRIKE

Director Pravinkanth has requested Tamil Nadu producers to go on a strike from tomorrow, November 22, in support of producer Ashok Kumar who committed suicide today after being extorted by a powerful financier.

Pravin's statement reads as follow: "My producer friends, I know the difficulties involved in getting dates of actors in the current situation. One among us has committed suicide and this cannot go on. So please cancel all your shoots tomorrow. We need to be united now and stay awake. No one should die because of usury anymore."
