Actress and model Meera Mitun recently grabbed headlines for her brief participation in the Tamil reality show Bigg Boss 3, which was hosted by Kamal Haasan.
Post her stint in Bigg Boss 3, Meera Mitun had alleged that she was dropped from 'Moodar Koodam' director Naveen's upcoming project Agni Siragugal in an unexpected way and was later replaced by Akshara Haasan for the role.
#AksharaHaasan replaces #ShaliniPandey in #AgniSiragugal. Akshara is the female lead. @meera_mitun was never committed in first place. She herself told the press that she is in the movie without my concern. Initially I didn’t wanted to make a fuz. But now....

To put forward his argument, Naveen took to his official Twitter account to state that Akshara Haasan was roped in to replace Shalini Pandey in the film and that Meera Mitun was never committed to the project.
To further that, Meera posted the article from a popular media website that carried Naveen's statement regarding Meera's involvement in the film, for which Naveen replied that his following tweet will be his final response to her statement.
