Director Mohan Raja, is an excited man as his Sivakarthikeyan starrer Velaikkaran is all set to hit screens tomorrow (December 22). However, while addressing the press in a recent meet, he talks about piracy and what he expects from pirates websites. He said:
"There are a lot of struggles for a filmmaker today and with sites like Tamilrockers, it becomes even harder for a movie to reach the theatre audience. But not denying that Tamilrockers is the biggest Velaikkaran. He is quite a hard worker and that is something I have to say on this stage.
However, if he is a good hard worker, I request him to release my Velaikkaran slightly later and not during the run of the film in theatres. Obviously it is difficult to stay up at nights and maintain such a site. But if he respects this craft and our hard work, it will be very helpful for us. Thank you all.”
Director Mohan Raja, whose Velaikkaran, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara has opened well in theatres post its release yesterday (December 22), is a happy man.
Our sources have revealed exciting news about the director. His next project after Velaikkaran will be a film produced by Dinesh Karthik, who bankrolled Aranmanai 1. The cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
