On the personal front, the actor had got engaged a few weeks ago to Sindhu of director Chachi who had directed 'Sixer' that had featured Vaibhav. Recently, there were speculations that since both the bride-to-be and the groom-to-be are related to the industry, there are high chances of this to be a love marriage.

However, the director had taken to his social media and put an end to all the rumours by posting a pic from the engagement ceremony and captioned it as “It's a pure arrange marriage.” The actor had recently met Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam at their office to invite for his wedding.

On the work front, Sathish will be playing important roles in director Rathna Siva's forthcoming action film Seeru, the Trisha and Simran-starrer Sugar and director Shakti Soundar Rajan's Teddy, which are currently under various stages of production.
