Director Anandakrishnan’s Metro got him good name and fame and the filmmaker is ready with his next which is going on the floors from today, the 27th January in Chennai. Ashok Selvan is the lead.
In a friendly chat with behindwoods, Anandakrishnan elaborates, “I am beginning the shoot from today. The first schedule will be a short one. I am yet to finalize the other leads and the supporting cast. Once I do that, I am planning to shoot at a stretch from March. I want to complete the film by May. This film will also be a crime thriller just like Metro. It will be about a crime in detail that is disturbing the society at large.
I chose Ashok Selvan, mainly because he is a good artist and secondly, his looks perfectly fitted the character in my script. This film will be about three stages in his life. There will not be a heroine per se in my film as space for love is limited in my films. All the same, you can call her a female lead. The supporting cast also will have significant contribution in the script. I am producing the film which will have the backdrop of city as well as village as the issue is disturbing both rural and urban life”
We wish you the best Ananda Krishnan
