Bigg Boss is turning out to be easily topping the trending topics and we recently caught up with one of the story editors of the show, Dipshi Blessy, who gave us some interesting insights about the show.
When we asked what the job of a story editor is, she said, "There are 8 of us, who work as story editors, and our job is to select the best interesting portions that happen in the house. The camera rolling for all the 24 hours, and we can't possibly telecast continuously for all the 24 hours. We select the best portions, cut it to 40 minutes or so, and then give it for the telecast. One of my selections was telecasted once, and it was when Bharani sir tried to escape out of the house."
She went on to say, "There was a training seminar session for all of us which happened for some ten days. During the training, our project head asked if there are any more questions to be clarified. I became very excited and asked if the Bigg Boss show was scripted, and everyone around me started to laugh. That is when I understood I was wrong and got to know it wasn't. Also, when all the people spread rumors saying it is a scripted show, it definitely hurts.
More than hundreds of people are giving their heart and soul, for the show to come out well, and when it doesn't get the right type of recognition, it is disappointing. It is a complete reality, non-scripted show."
