Dileep, who was arrested and jailed in connection with the actress abduction case, was released a few months back. He made his first-ever public appearance, in his latest film, Kammara Sambhavam's audio launch. Directed by Rathish Ambat, the film also stars Siddharth, Bobby Simha, Namitha Pramod, and others in pivotal roles. 

During his speech, Dileep revealed that he grew the beard for the look of Kammara Sambhavam while being inside the jail for three months. He shared this information in a light-hearted manner, that was enjoyed by the audience seated in the auditorium.
