Krrish is the second film in the franchise directed by Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan. It is a prequel to Koi Mil Gaya that laid the foundation story of Rohit Mehra who inherits superhuman abilities post befriending an alien. His son, Krishna Mehra inherits his powers in the second outing. While power is good, he also struggles to keep his alter ego Krrish under wraps, which he is eventually forced to reveal in order to protect the world.

Krrish starred Priyanka Chopra as Priya, the superhero’s love interest. Priyanka’s team had earlier tweeted, “The film that we fell in love with 15 years ago & celebrate even now! It’s #15YearsOfKrrish today, a movie high on action, romance & emotions.”
