KABALI'S DATE GOES TO...?

As Kabali's release might be postponed, other teams have been trying to lock-in July 1 to release their films. Santhanam starrer - Dhilluku Dhuddu, and Raju Murugan directorial - Joker are the two films which are eyeing for a July 1 release as of now.

Directed by Lollu Sabha fame Rambhala, Dhilluku Dhuddu has Santhanam playing the lead hero. While Shanaya plays his love interest, noted Hindi actor Saurabh Shukla and Karunas will be seen in supporting roles. The film is said to be a horror-comedy and has got a good reception from the audience for its teaser.

Joker is another film on the line, which is about the ills of globalisation. Though the film appears to be a satire of sorts, it is said that the movie will put forth a bold question to the government. Joker has theatre artist Guru Somasundaram playing the lead role. Raju Murugan and Sean Roldan, take care of the direction and musical departments respectively.
