Yes, actor Nataraja Subramani aka Natty tweeted about the backlash he had received for playing the villain character - Kannabhiran. According to his tweet, the restless fans had reached out to the actor’s personal number via calls and messages and scolded him which they had intended against Kannabhiran.

Fearing the situation might escalate further, Natty placed a humble request to all the fans in Tamil which is roughly translated as “Brothers and sisters, I just enacted the character Kannabhiran. Please do not scold me over calls and messages. That was just acting. My gratitude to fans!”
