The actress was in Himachal Pradesh for the shooting of a new movie and got trapped along with the acclaimed filmmaker Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and other crew members due to the current flood situations prevailing there.

Reportedly, she had called her brother using a satellite phone, Madhu Warrier on Monday night and informed him that around 200 of them were stuck in Chatru, Himachal Pradesh due to the natural disaster and further told that their food supplies were running out and that they have only a day’s food remaining.

Post this, Cabinet minister, V Muraleedharan had talked to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jairam Thakur and had requested to do the needful to ensure the safety of them. According to a recent report in Mathrubhumi, the actress along with her crew are safe and sound. They are apparently said to be walking towards a base camp that is located 22 kilometres away from Chatru afterwhich, the actress will be provided with all the necessary arrangements to reach Manali.
