Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsDhanush is currently awaiting for the release of his upcoming film Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj. Rajisha Vijayan is the female lead. Produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, Santosh Narayanan is composing the music for the film.
A special set was set up near Tirunelveli and the shooting took place there as initially the filming was halted due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The movie is expected to hit the big screens on April 9.
Apart from the leads - Dhanush and Rajisha, the film also features Lal, Yogi Babu and Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli amongst others in important roles. The teaser of the film was recently released and fans are waiting with bated breath to watch the film soon!
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, the producer of the film - Kalaipuli S Thanu has talked about how people whoever watched Asuran was sure of it to win the National award. He also revealed that due to Dhanush’s sheer hard-work that he is conferred with the award. Talking about Karnan, the producer reveals that after watching the film, people will have its impact that would definitely last for at least 2 days! Watch here -
