DHANUSH-VETRI MAARAN CLASSIC HIT'S HINDI REMAKE: TRAILER OUT
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsDirector Vetri Maaran, one of the most important filmmakers of Indian cinema, ventured into Tamil cinema with the 2007 Dhanush starrer action-drama Polladhavan. The film was a starting point to one of the most successful actor-director combos of Tamil cinema.
The official Hindi remake of Polladhavan, Guns of Banaras, is directed by Shekkhar Suri and produced by Dashaka Cinema Company. Starring Karann Nathh, Nathalia, Shilpa Shirodkar Ranjit, Zarina Wahab, Abhimanyu Singh, Tamil actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Ganesh Venkatram will be reprising Daniel Balaji's role in the film.
The official trailer of the film was recently out, and the trailer featured song-dance routines and action sequences set in the locales of Banaras. Guns of Banaras is set to release on March 20.
