PILOT KARTHI AND A COLONEL GRANDFATHER-IN-LAW!

Kaatru Veliyidai, Mani Ratnam’s next directorial is said to be moving at a brisk clip at Ooty. The film features Karthi and Aditi Rao in the lead roles. Ravi Varma takes care of the cinematography while Mani Ratnam’s regular AR Rahman heads the music department.

As reported earlier Karthi would be playing a pilot in this film. In fact, it was said that he was asked to take up flying lessons to make himself prepared for the character.

Now the latest we hear is that legendary actor Delhi Ganesh would be playing the role of Indian Army Colonel in the film. He would be Karthi’s grandfather-in-law and his portions are expected to be shot from this weekend.
