In a turn of events, the Narcotics Crime Bureau (NCB) who were probing actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, has summoned top four actresses – Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh.
For the unversed, these actresses’ names surfaced in the case after Sushant’s talent manager Jaya Saha’s chat were examined by the agency. Deepika was issued summons after WhatsApp conversations purportedly discussing cannabis surfaced.
In the chats, a person called D reportedly says, “...Maal you have.” To which, Karishma (Deepika’s manager) replies, “I have but at home. I am at Bandra...” Karishma is then seen saying, “I can ask Amit if you want.”
It is reported that the actresses will be appearing before the agency soon to record their respective statements. As of now, more than 10 people are arrested including Sushant’s girlfriend and actress Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty, in connection of the actor's death.
