BREAKING: IS RAJINI PAIRING UP WITH HIS RECENT HEROINE FOR PA.RANJITH FILM?

As we all know, director Pa.Ranjith's fourth directorial will have Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead and produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films. We had earlier reported that the Kabali director had set up his office in Egmore, where the pre-production works of the film are in full swing.

According to our sources, the latest, but the strong contender to do the female lead is said to be Deepika Padukone. Earlier, Vidya Balan was reported to be in consideration, but now we hear that the Bajirao Mastani actress is supposedly the finalized one. The shoot is expected to begin on April 14th. However, we have to wait for an official announcement from the production team.
 

If this information happens to be true, this will be Deepika's second Tamil film, after Kochadaiiyaan. It must be noted that she was also roped in to play the lead in Rajinikanth's Rana but unfortunately the project got dropped.
