Aamir Khan's Dangal which released last year went on to smash many records at the domestic box office. The film stood out to be both critics and fans favorite, thanks to the realistic appeal factor that the film had with a gripping screenplay and emotionally driven storyline.
Dangal released in China last month, and it grossed a whopping Rs. 1000 crores only from the Chinese market. The film is currently heading toward Rs. 2000 crores club and it is expected to enter the same in the next few days. Dangal was well received in China and was also extensively promoted. The movie was initially screened in a popular Chinese International Film Festival, and Aamir Khan flew to China to promote Dangal.
The latest achievement from Dangal is that the film becomes the first Indian movie to earn $300 million and also enters the top 30 highest grossing films worldwide in 2016.
