- We had already reported that Thambi Ramaiah’s son Umapathy was debuting as an actor in a film titled Adhagapattathu Magaajanangale. Currently, the team is busy shooting at locations in and around Tiruttani.

- Vijay starrer, director Atlee’s Theri is nearing completion. The team is shooting a song sequence in locations around namma Chennai. As reported, the film will complete the shooting process by Pongal 2016.

- The current sensation among the youth is the music track “Thalli Pogadhey” that backed the well cut trailer of Gautham Menon’s Acham Yenbathu Madamaiyada. This single coming from the desk of the birthday boy, AR Rahman will release on January 14th. The film is aiming a summer 2016 release while the album might hit the market by the mid of February.

- “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” joins the list of highest-grossing films at the worldwide box office. It acquires the fourth position in the list pushing down “Furious 7” and Marvel’s The Avengers.
