Actor Soori is a very humorous person, off-screen too. He was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Sangathamizhan’, in which Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi played the lead. He is also a part of the biggie ‘Annaatthe’, which stars Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead. The movie is directed by Siva.
Meanwhile, Soori paid a visit to the streets during the lockdown. Surprisingly, he had come to take autographs from the police personnel, who are working really hard to fight the deadly pandemic. He wore all protective gear when he was spotted outside.
Addressing the press after collecting the autographs, Soori said “The Police are working really hard to ensure all of us are safe. They are like Gods to us. Let’s ensure we abide by what they’re saying in order to stay safe.”
When a media person asked Soori’s statement on the closure of Tasmac liquor shops by the Government, Soori sad “Why boss? This is a technical question and I need to think and only answer. I have to see what the people will think, what the police will think, and more importantly what my wife will say. Don’t make the same police who gave me their autographs arrest me” (laughs).
Soori also created awareness on the importance of cleanliness and social distancing.
