VIJAY 60, A LANDMARK 25

Comedian Sathish is steadily climbing up the ladder of success in his career. Having debuted in director Vijay’s Madharasapattinam, he has been a part of interesting films such as Marina, Ethir Neechal, Sigaram Thodu, Kaththi and Thanga Magan to name a few.

Incidentally, Vijay 60 marks the silver jubilee for Sathish and we catch up with the actor to know how he feels about this milestone.

“I am very happy having arrived here. As regards the film industry, it is difficult to make an entry itself. I am glad that I was able to do this and complete 25 films in this period. It is also good that in this 25, around 10 films have been hits. People have been appreciating my work. I am glad that I have been getting roles which are being noticed and mentioned about. I need to thank my directors for this.

I am doubly excited that this landmark of mine happens to be a Vijay sir’s film. I am quite upbeat about this.

I can’t much reveal about my role in Vijay 60, but all that I can say is it a very good one and it would be much noticed.

My other films that are ready for release now are Remo, Rekka, Motta Siva Ketta Siva, Devi (L), Parandhu Sella Vaa, Vaa Deal.

As of now the trend seems to be humor, counter dialogues, making fun and casual candidness and therefore I will continue in this until something new comes in”.
