REST IN PEACE: POPULAR CINEMATOGRAPHER PASSES AWAY

Popular cinematographer Robert Asirvatham passed away, earlier this morning (November 30) at a private hospital around 10 AM. He was 68 years old when he breathed his last.

His final rituals will take place tomorrow (December 1) in Kolathur. Robert Asirvadham worked as one of the cinematographers for popular yesteryear Tamil hits like, 'Oru Thalai Raagam', 'Paalai Vana Cholai', 'Chinna Poove Mella Pesu', and a few more. He collaborated with his friend Rajasekhar and the duo were called Robert Rajasekhar, who worked together in the above mentioned movies.  

South Indian Cinematographers Association (SICA) issed an official statement on his demise, offering their condolences. Behindwoods sends its deepest condolences to his family and prays for the departed soul to rest in peace.
