The audio of Theri directed by Atlee was launched on 20th March and has been lapped by the audience. The film is slated for an April release this year.

As regards the business of Theri, Cine Galaxy, a reputed overseas film distribution company has bought the US rights of the film. The official Twitter handle of the company revealed the information, “#Theri USA rights by Cinegalaxy. Grand Rls on April 14. Thanks to Dhanu for trusting us and giving this opportunity”.

It is also reported that Cine Galaxy has bought the rights of Suriya starrer 24 and also the superstar starrer Kabali. It is a known fact that Rajinikanth enjoys a huge fan base in US also and his films are much sought after there. Sources say that Vijay’s films have a good patronage in America and has gone in for a good price second only to Rajinikanth's films.
