Chris Hemsworth recently had his ‘Extraction’ release on Netflix. The movie received a positive response from the audience and critics. Chris’s performance in the movie was highly appreciated, with some bizarre stunt sequences and high octane action shots.
In an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, Bobby Holland, Chris Hemsworth’s stunt double revealed some interesting information on the making of Avengers series and Extraction. He also revealed an interesting update on the much awaited ‘Thor 4: Love and Thunder’.
Speaking about how he met Chris, he said “I first met Chris Hemsworth in the end of 2011. I had just actually finished the filming of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises, his last Batman movie. It was also Christian Bale’s last movie as Batman. We met and it was a more of a professional experience back then. But now, we have a personal relationship too - Chris is more like a close buddy."
Speaking about his ‘Extraction’ experience, Holland said “The stunts in Extraction were amazing. There’s this one sequence, where I had to jump off a building and get hit by a vehicle. There were no wires, I had to do it completely free. I’m really proud of that sequence.”
He revealed that they were filming for ‘Thor 4’ and now with the pandemic, there might be a small delay in the release. However, he also added that they’re all set to start shooting in Sydney, once things are better everywhere and try to wrap it up fast so that the movie can be released at the earliest, with Mark Ruffalo, Taika Waititi and others being in the cast.
