It was earlier announced in 2018 that actor Vikram would be seen playing the titular character of Karna in the movie based on the epic Mahabharatha - titled as Suryaputra Mahavir Karna.
While RS Vimal of Ennu Ninte Moideen fame will be helming the project, in a turn of events yesterday, the new makers of the movie have unveiled a new promo with no mention of Vikram and also no mention about the actor who plays Karna. However, an official announcement for the same is awaited!

Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram is currently engaged shooting for his upcoming films magnum opus - Ponniyin Selvan directed by Mani Ratnam and Cobra directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. The actor will also be shooting for his film with Karthik Subbaraj and Dhruv soon.
