Chinmayi had filed nomination against veteran actor Radha Ravi in the Dubbing Union Elections and her press meet videos were making heavy rounds on the internet. For the unversed, Chinmayi was removed from the South Indian Artistes and Dubbing Artistes Union in 2018, following which she had clarified on allegations that she had paid her life-time membership fee to the body.
Chinmayi had received an ad interim stay injunction from the court, which protects the interest of the plaintiff until the interim injunction is decided and made her nomination to contest against Radha Ravi, but apparently her nomination was rejected.
Chinmayi shared the news in her Twitter handle that Radha Ravi has won 'unopposed' and added: "I don't understand how the Honble Retired Justice Sri Ravi decided I am not a member when the Court says so."
Mr Radha Ravi has won ‘Unopposed’ and they rejected my nomination it seems.
despite the fact that my interim order says I have all the rights to be a member.
