National award-winning director Cheran's 2005 acclaimed and appreciated film was Dhavamai Dhavamirunthu that starred Rajkiran, Saranya Ponvannan, Padmapriya and Cheran himself in the lead roles. Some of the director's other highly popular films are Autograph, Pandavar Bhoomi and Porkkaalam among many others.
The film was released 14 years ago and the director re-immersed in the memories of the film and posted various pictures commemorating the anniversary in his official Instagram handle.
