Venkat Prabhu’s Chennai-28 was a cult classic of sorts and the director has now completed the much-awaited sequel produced by Black Ticket banner.

The sequel will talk about the lives of the boys who have become men now, married, gotten jobs for themselves. Chennai-28 II features Jai, Mirchi Shiva, Akash, Premji, Vijay Vasanth and more from the cast of its hit prequel and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The trailers and the audio have already received a positive reception and it is all set for the release now.

The official release date is here, December 9th and we hope Team Chennai 28 II will bowl us again.
